Made in Britain

The first hurdle is define 'Britishness' firstly as a whole and then in the fashion world. To me, and hopefully others, 'Britishness' means having certain identifiable characteristics, habits, and behaviours, a quality of and a state of 'Britishness' forming an identity.

Remember these..........
A simple top hat - the symbolism that it evokes is purely 'Britishness.' Where else in the world would you find them!

As a nation we have forgotten about our heritage and what is means to be British. We buy cheap clothes in high street chains that are made in Turkey, China and Asia, to name a few.

Pants to cheap imports
The quality that is 'Britishness' has been long forgotten and with the help of people like 'Mary Portas'  http://www.maryportas.com/    wanting to protect our waning  manufacturing industry, we can start to make and buy 'British' reforming our identity and making it stronger for the future.
